Sorry that it has been so long, but life has been CRAZY!!
We are one week away from our voyage to Ethiopia. We are SO excited.
We leave Phila on Fri, Nov 4 and arrive in Addis Ababa Sat morning ready to do God's work, whatever it may be.
It looks like we will be working at Korah, a live-in ministry to the children of the dump. Please hold us up in prayer as we experience the poorest of Ethiopia's poor. Pray that we will see how we can help and realize that every little thing we do will be a blessing to our friends there.
We hope to visit the orphanage where Markos was and to reconnect with Almasz.
The second week of our trip will be spent in Menz (mountain region north of Addis Ababa) participating in an eye clinic and seeing how we can help from a veterinary standpoint.
A major thrust of our trip is to decide how best we can bring clean water to the many needy of Ethiopia. We have raised $10,500 as of our departure and are so thankful to all the friends and family who have supported our vision of Doc's Well of Hope.
We will try to keep you updated from Ethiopia while there if we can get internet access, but if not, we will update soon upon our return to the US on Nov 19.
Please hold us close in prayer that God will do mighty things in our friends of Ethiopia and in us. Also, pray that we will hear God's voice as to how HE chooses to use us in our future years. We want to do whatever God chooses to positively effect the lives of many.
